Notice of Land Law Re Land Management Authorities
Pursuant to section 3.01 of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation Land Management Code 2021 (the “Land Management Code”), Council may delegate to a person or body the performance and discharge certain of Council’s administrative functions in the management of Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation Land (“MSIFN Lands”).
On April 24, 2024, the Council of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation adopted a draft land law entitled “Land Law re Land Transaction Authority” delegating the performance and discharge of certain land management functions to the Mississaugas of Scugog Island Fist Nation officials identified therein. A copy of the land law may be obtained from the undersigned.
