SHAWANAGA FIRST NATION GOVERNMENT NOTICE OF ENACTMENT OF BUSINESS LICENCING LAND LAW 2022
On 02 August 2022, the Council of Shawanaga First Nation enacted Business Licensing Land Law 2022 which applies to all businesses operating within the First Nation's reserves, under the Shawanaga First Nation Land Code, 2017. The new land law sets out procedures for applying for a licence, deciding licence applications, the enforcement of licensing and licence terms and conditions, appeals of business licensing decisions and other matters.
