NOTICE of POLL (Election)
Notice is hereby given to the Electors of the Adams Lake Indian Band that a poll will be held to elect a chief and 5 councilors on Saturday, the 28th day of February, 2015, from eight o’clock (8:00) a.m. until eight o’clock (8:00) p.m. at the following location:
Adams Lake Recreation and Conference Center (ALRCC)
6349 Chief Jules Drive IR#4
Please be advised that:
- the List of Electors (persons eligible to vote) is posted at the Adams Lake Indian Band Administration Building Office
- An elector who has received a mail-in ballot can vote in person at a polling place on the day of the election in lieu of voting by mail-in ballot, but must return their mail-in ballot or sign a written declaration that they have lost their mail-in ballot.
Mail in Ballots
- Any elector (who does not receive a mail-in ballot package in the mail) may request a mail-in ballot package by contacting the Electoral Officer.
- Mail-in ballots will be received by the Electoral Officer up to the closure of the poll.
- Mail-in ballots received by the Electoral Officer after 8:00pm February 28, 2015 will not be counted.
Advance Poll
There will be an advance poll at Pierre's Point Log Building
2471 Pierre's Point Rd. Salmon Arm BC
On Saturday February 21, 2015 between the hours of 10am to 4pm.
The votes will be counted at the poll at 8:00 p.m. on the 28th day of February 2015
